Apples in Stereo June 2007
We made a trip into the city to see The Apples in Stereo at Summerstage in Central Park. They put us on the VIP list so we were able to see the show from the front stage left. Maggie and Ruby were so excited because they've been listening to the new album (it was so fun watching them sing along). The only downer was that it rained during their entire set (Deneise was not too happy with me...). It quit raining right after they finished and the girls got to meet most of the band. We met Robert's son and Maggie and Ruby got autographs and pictures with the band. Jeff Mangum (Neutral Milk Hotel) was there as well and he jumped in for a few clicks, too. It was really great seeing them again.

Deneise sat next to Joe Levy, an editor from Rolling Stone magazine (remember him from those VH-1 specials?).
